Hajj Fund Project

My older girls decided to make a little project for my husband. They wanted to help him save money to make hajj insha Allah. We had a five gallon water bottle and they add any extra change to it when they find it or when my husband comes home they have him add his change to the bottle as well.

They wanted to decorate the bottle to surprise/encourage my husband.

They found a box around the house and covered it in black construction paper. Then they cut a hole at the bottom of the box, which will be the top of the bottle.

Next, they drew out some letters that make up “Hajj Fund” and had their younger siblings color. They then took some gold glitter and decorated the box as if it were the kabah, masha Allah.

They did a  nice job, Alhamdulilah!

They were even so creative to include the Kiswa being partially pulled up on the sides. That is what this shows. They drew out the bricks and had the little ones color it in with different shades of brown.

May Allah make it easy for all the Muslims that want to make the next Hajj, Ameen.
