Masjid Craft

So we are brainstorming ideas for Ramadan crafts and such.

We found a papercraft on Canon Creative Park . This craft is actually for the Taj Mahal but we modified it a bit to just be a masjid not a specific one.

We used cardstock to print it. This is a timely project which is probably more suitable for older children. Ihad my 14 yr old and 12 yr old work on this one. There are small pieces which need to be cut out and takes alot of time and patience.

We took 2 days to get this lil Masjid finished and it makes a nice centerpiece on our dining room table. We plan on adding some 3 dimensional letters that make up the word RAMADAN but we will get to that once we find more time. In the meanwhile here are pics of the finished product.

I know you can’t see the detail very well, but trust me there were many little pieces that needed glue and patience!

This is a little more close up of our Masjid. We have added other pictures of Masjids to our look on the table. Glitter makes it look so pretty! Masha Allah

I just had to add this picture in as it looks like the light from the sunset beaming down.

To Be Continued with 3 dimensional letters insha Allah……….

  1. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Oh masha’Allah! This is soo pretty! It looks like it sparkles (smile) in the sun. How long did it take to make it? What is the base made of?
