Flower Pots & Plants Day 20

Alhamdulilah! We have met day 20 since we first planted our marigolds!

The little ones get more excited each day since our plants are all growing at different speeds.

Here are a few pics of what they look like now

A couple of the plants seem to be really thriving, masha Allah.

Then there is one that is just lagging behind the rest, I guess to get all the attention! LOL

Isn’t it so cute though? The kids make du’a each time they water their plants and sure love the responsibility! Masha Allah.

Insha Allah, the lil guy will catch up soon!

I told the kids if they do well this year with their plants that perhaps next year we can plant veggies, they seem to be so excited about that insha Allah we will be able to do just that!

I have lil gardeners in my house now! Green thumbs in practice!

More to come insha Allah……….

  1. as salaamu alaikum ukhti mashaallah nice plants I remember growing marigolds as a kid and i was really fun. Can they stay in their little cups or do you have to transplant them outside after a while?

  2. Wa Alaykum As Salaam Wa Rahmahtuallahi Wa Barakatuh,
Awwww, My Dear Sis Sakeenah! How are you and the new baby? To answer your question, Yes I do plan on transplanting them in a larger pot. We keep them on the balcony outside our apartment.

  3. Salaam alaikum
Alhamdulillah Eid is in August inshaALlah this year, you could let the kids give them as Eid gifts or if your masjid has a garden, ask if you can plant them there… or they could put them in hanging basket, get a shepherds pole and place them by the mosque door overnight with a nice note to your imam inshaAllah from the kids 🙂 Or even keep them for yourself lol

  4. Wa Alaykumus Salaam, Na’am, such a great idea! I didn’t even think of that! You are so full of ideas, masha Allah! Jazakallahu Khair! *hugs*

  5. alhamdulillah we are all good over here thanks for asking, the baby is almost 7 month now. I really like the idea of giving them for the Eid
